It would also make life *much* simpler for those of us trying to teach
Python --- one tool is a clearer and less confusing target than several
competing ones (just witness the mess with Python web frameworks).
So, how do we make this happen? Would someone(s) (Neal and Sylvain?) like
to organize a PEP for a unified checking tool, announce it on the py-dev
list, and start lobbying for inclusion in the standard library?
