Lately we've been playing and using branches which end up being very useful. We also use <a class="reference" href="http://www.logilab.org/project/hgview">hgview</a> instead of the built-in &quot;hg view&quot; command. And its latest <a class="reference" href="http://www.logilab.org/project/hgview/0.9.0">release</a> supports the branches functionality, you can filter out the branch you want to look at.
